“Masala chai” means spiced tea ~ typically black tea simmered with milk, water, and spices. Our Double Chai is different: it’s tea-free, letting the spices take the lead.
In India and surrounding countries, chai recipes vary by region and household with every family claiming theirs is unique; this blend spotlights five classic ingredients ~ Cinnamon, Cardamom, Ginger, Clove, and Black Pepper.
Brewed, it yields a deep amber cup with vivid aroma. The taste is warming and layered: sweet spice from Cinnamon and Clove, Cardamom’s citrusy lift, Ginger heat, and a peppery finish ~ naturally caffeine-free. Enjoy straight, or with milk and coconut sugar as we do at home.
