Sweet and cool. These herbs pair like they were created for each other.
Licorice grows in dry river valleys and open grasslands across parts of Asia and southern Europe where its long roots are harvested and dried after several years of growth. In modern days, Egypt and Tunisia produce most of the world’s Licorice roots. Peppermint is well known for being a persistent garden plant, and for its cool minty character.
In the teacup, Licorice is sweet and smooth while the peppermint adds a fresh and cooling boost. We love this clean, well-rounded tea for its enjoyability and bright, lingering finish.
