Across Europe, Elderberries have been simmered into syrups, preserves, and infusions for generations. Echinacea has deep historical ties to the Plains, where it has been traditionally valued for centuries. A true kitchen-table classic, this blend pairs hedgerow-dark Elderberry with sun-loving Echinacea. We look to old-time methods by using both Echinacea root and herb, drawn from Echinacea angustifolia of the western plains and Echinacea purpurea native to eastern North America.
