This herb is native to the United States through Guatemala where it was part of Indigenous herbalism. It was found useful by the Europeans, who took it to Old World and included in their herb gardens.

Passion Flower is an herbaceous woody climbing vine that grows to several meters. It has small tendrils curled up like corkscrews and puts forth flowers that are several inches across and very unique and striking.
