This blend combines unroasted, or “green,” Yerba Maté with Peppermint and Spearmint. Maté is a small evergreen holly native to subtropical South America, where it is celebrated as a national drink. Traditionally shared from a gourd with a bombilla, it remains a symbol of friendship and community.

Blending Maté with two kinds of mint adds brightness and lift to its bold, earthy taste. The infusion brews to a golden-green cup with grassy aroma, natural bitterness, and a cool, refreshing finish. Smooth yet lively, it balances grounding character with crisp mint freshness.

Organic Unroasted Yerba Maté (Ilex paraguariensis), Organic Spearmint (Mentha spicata), Organic Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)

Directions

Use spring or filtered water. Good water is an essential part of brewing a great cup of tea. 

Relax. Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surround it. Take some time for tea!

Quick Brew Directions: Pour freshly boiled water over tea bags in your chosen mug, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste. 

Full Strength (infusion) Directions: Maté is best when exposed to high temperatures for a short period of time. Be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your tea bags. Use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 7–12 minutes. For a bolder brew, allow a longer steep, which deepens Maté’s earthy character.
