Soft and finely layered ~ the flowers appear in delicate patterns made of many small white blossoms atop tall green stalks. It’s a hardy perennial that grows widely across eastern Europe as well as North America ~ settling easily into open meadows and roadside edges where it thrives in sunlit landscapes. It has appeared in stories like the siege of Troy, where it derived the family name Achillea, for the famous warrior Achilles.
