Naturally sweet ~ this small leafy plant is native to Paraguay and Brazil. It’s a small shrub with soft green leaves that are appreciated for their extremely sweet taste but zero calories. Stevia was once viewed as a divine indicator of where people should live.

The tea in this box is dried, cut and teabagged for you ~ in this raw, unrefined form, Stevia is 4 times sweeter than sugar. Many companies will refine the leaves making a white powdery extract that is 200 times sweeter than sugar, then mixing it with additives ~ we don’t do that.

Stevia teabags are excellent to add to beverages like tea or coffee. The intense sweetness is very satisfying and carries a recognizable herbal note that many come to enjoy.

Directions

Use spring or filtered water. Good water is an essential part of brewing a great cup of tea.

Relax. Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surround it. Take some time for tea! 

Quick Brew Directions: Pour freshly boiled water over tea bags in your chosen mug, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste. 

Full Strength (infusion) Directions: Stevia makes a very sweet tea when exposed to high temperatures for only a short period of time. Be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your tea bags. Use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
