Stay cool (or warm) with our excellent Iced Teas

2025 Sep 2nd

Try any of our teas, hot or iced. Here are a few of our favorites.

  • Elderberry ~ Made from 100% Elderberries, this tea tastes like a berry cocktail without the added sugar.

  • Hibiscus with Tropical Fruit ~ Hibiscus tea is bright red, slightly sour and full of vitamin C. Blended with tastes of citrus, this is one of our favorite iced teas. Brew it for a LONG time for the full flavor to develop.

  • Rooibos Herbal Orange ~ Rooibos comes from South Africa. The tea has flavors reminiscent of black or heavy green teas, but without the caffeine. Blended with orange peel, lemongrass, hibiscus. It's a great flavor hot or iced especially for those who prefer a tea that you can drink all day.

  • Rooibos Lemonade ~ Like Rooibos Tea Herbal Orange, above, this is a great tea. Rooibos is blended with lemongrass to create a simpler, but less rustic flavor. This is for people who prefer simple, uncomplicated flavors.

  • Rosehips with Lemongrass ~ Tart and fruity, this tea provides a tart kick and a refreshing finish. Brew this tea as long as possible for a fresh, clean flavor.

  • Licorice Peppermint ~ The flavors of real licorice with a touch of mint. A sweet tasting pick-me-up for hot summer days.

  • Peppermint ~ Field fresh peppermint tea must be experienced. This crisp invigorating brew with a clean finish is good at any season.

  • Green Tea - Chinese Classic Favorite ~ The definitive green tea delivered in true Chinese style. Excellent brewed hot or cold. Don't steep this one too long or it will develop a bitter tannins.

  • Black Tea - Special Blend Pekoe ~ Our favorite black tea. Expect a mild start with a clean non-bitter finish. This isn't your average black tea -- it is mild enough to enjoy without cream or sugar, but bold enough for those who love a full-body tea.

  • Citrus Soother ~ A blend of premium Chamomile and lemongrass. A good way to end the day and quench your thirst at the same time.

Brewing Iced Tea

To make 1L (5 cups) of great iced teas, follow these directions:

• 5 cups of boiling water per 4 tea bags (or 4 teaspoons of loose leaf tea).
• Place tea in a pitcher (or a french press for a simpler straining process). Pour boiling water over tea.
• Infuse brew for 5 minutes (or longer for stronger tasting teas).
• Remove teabags (or leaves). Pour steeped brew directly over 1 cup of ice. Discard solids.
• Serve tea as is or with any add-ins of your choice. Tea will keep well, covered and refrigerated, for 3 to 5 days.
• Optional add-ins: sliced lemon, sweetener of choice, fresh mint leaves, sliced cucumber

Sweetening Naturally

Sweetening without sugar or honey is easy to do and keeps your calorie/carb count low. Brew your iced tea with a teabag of stevia or licorice. Sweeten your morning coffee by dropping in a stevia teabag.

Blend Your Own

Experiment with all the different teas available to you. The simplest way is to add Lemongrass or Lemon Balm to your favorite teas. Experimenting with various tea pairings is an excellent way to discover new flavors. Here are some of our favorite mix-ups: Mint Lavender, Cinnamon Ginger, Cranberry Double Chai—the possibilities are unlimited.
