About Chaga...
Chaga is a fungus that commonly grows on birch trees in the boreal regions of our planet. Unlike the soft fruiting bodies of common mushrooms, Chaga is formed from sclerotia, a compact mass of hardened fungal mycelium, that has grown on compromised tree’s bark. A slow growing plant, one-pound sclerotia may take up to 10 years to mature. Chaga makes an earthy and pleasant tasting tea with long traditions of use that continue today.
