About Alfalfa...

Also known as “Lucerne” in parts of Europe, Alfalfa has been valued for centuries as both fodder and food. The name itself comes from the Arabic phrase meaning “Father of all Foods,” reflecting its importance in early agriculture. With clover-like leaves and deep roots, Alfalfa has long nourished people and livestock alike. In traditional farming, its roots helped restore soils, making it prized in crop rotations.

Today, it carries the sweet scent of fresh hay and is enjoyed as sprouts or as a light, grassy tea. The taste is sweet, earthy, and faintly minty. We especially like it paired with mint or lemon for a refreshing twist.
